The Salerno Nautical Center was inaugurated in 1955 and is located in the Lungomare area, near the port.
The center’s headquarters considers the many students who attend water activities, sailing, and swimming. The facility includes a large indoor swimming pool and expansive areas for learning and training.

Students participate in practical exercises, sailing courses, and regattas. Cultural meetings and conferences on maritime conservation are also held here.
The center collaborates with numerous sports and nautical institutions to promote maritime culture among young people and support environmental education.
Technical Facilities and Specializations

The Main Building extends over multiple floors: on the ground floor are the areas for practical exercises and assistance points, while on the first floor are the classrooms and administrative offices. The external areas include small marinas and spaces for displaying nautical equipment.
The outdoor areas of the center are accessible via pedestrian and cycling paths, promoting interaction with the sea and walking activities.

The Salerno Nautical Center aims to offer a versatile service, not only for athletes and students but also for families and local associations.
Recreational activities include sailing courses for children, youth regattas, and evening informational meetings on the sea and sailing.
