Salerno Nautical Center Promotes Maritime Culture and Water Education

“The Centronautico of Salerno was inaugurated in 1955 and is located in the Lungomare area, near the port.

Its headquarters hosts many students who participate in swimming, sailing, and water activities. The facility includes a large indoor swimming pool and spacious areas for learning and training.

Activities and events

Students take part in practical exercises, sailing courses, and regattas. Cultural meetings and conferences on ocean conservation are also held here.

The Centro collaborates with many sporting and nautical institutions to promote maritime culture among young people and to encourage environmental education.
