Salerno’s Marina Youth Center Opens Doors to Marine Education and Sports

The Marina Youth Center of Salerno was inaugurated in 1955 and is located in the Lungomare area, near the port.

Its headquarters host many students who attend activities such as swimming, sailing, and water sports. The facility includes a large indoor swimming pool and extensive areas for learning and training.

Activities and Events

Students participate in practical drills, sailing courses, and regattas. Cultural meetings and conferences on marine preservation are also held there.

The Center collaborates with many sports and nautical institutions to promote maritime culture among youth and to support environmental education.
