On November 25th, in observance of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, students from the G. D’Annunzio Secondary School in Salò participated in an important initiative aimed at promoting education on respect and raising awareness about gender-based violence. Through a collective reflection process, the students created posters, poems, and drawings that were displayed in the school courtyard, expressing their support for women and encouraging the community to reflect on the value of mutual respect.
The initiative began last year with a meeting organized in collaboration with the anti-violence center Chiare Acque and included activities such as readings and songs. Teachers noted the seriousness and commitment of the students in addressing these sensitive issues, highlighting how schools can be fundamental spaces not only for cultural education but also for human development. The works created by the students represent a message of hope and freedom, emphasizing the importance of building a more aware and respectful society towards women.
