The weekly market in Salò will see an enhancement of public safety thanks to a collaboration between the municipal administration and the National Carabinieri Association. Starting from Saturday, June 7, 2025, and continuing until September, four volunteers from the association will be present during the market, which attracts thousands of people, including residents, tourists, and visitors from neighboring municipalities. The initiative aims to ensure the smooth operation of commercial activities, supporting law enforcement in preventing unlawful behaviors and managing traffic.
The volunteers will patrol the market area, ready to alert the relevant authorities in case of irregularities. Mayor Francesco Cagnini and the security councilor Roberto Novelli expressed gratitude for the association’s willingness to help, emphasizing that this action is part of a broader plan to improve the livability of the area and protect both residents and tourists.
