In the summer of 2025, Salò is set to welcome a record number of visitors, with over 36.1 million Italians traveling, according to estimates from Federalberghi. The president of Federalberghi Brescia, Alessandro Fantini, stated that the results of the summer season are already encouraging, and a lively August and September are expected. Accommodations around the Lake Garda are nearly fully booked, highlighting the growing appeal of the area for summer tourism.
Furthermore, the composition of tourists is changing: while there has been a slight decline in German visitors, there is a significant increase in visitors from France, the United States, and Poland, along with a rise in the Arab market. Fantini emphasized that the total revenue in Italy will reach 41.3 billion euros, thus confirming the strategic importance of lakeside destinations like Salò for both national and international tourism.
