In the summer of 2025, Salò is gearing up to welcome a record influx of tourists, with over 36 million Italians expected to travel, according to estimates from Federalberghi. The president of the association for the province of Brescia, Alessandro Fantini, stated that the results are already encouraging, and a lively August and September are anticipated, potentially surpassing last year’s figures. Accommodation facilities around the Lago di Garda are nearly fully booked, highlighting the area’s appeal for the summer holidays of 2025.
Additionally, a shift in the nationalities of visitors has been noted: while the number of German tourists has seen a slight decline, interest from French, American, and Polish tourists is on the rise, along with a significant increase from the Arab market. Fantini emphasized that Lake Iseo is also achieving excellent results and that the mountains are becoming an increasingly sought-after destination during the summer season.
