Salò celebrates the Bisagoga: 50 years of running and history
The Bisagoga de Salò, a historic running event, will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Sunday, September 28, with the start scheduled for 9:00 AM from the “Zanardelli” Lakeside. Organized by the Alpini Group of Salò in collaboration with various local associations, the event offers two routes: one approximately 8 km long for experienced walkers and a shorter one of about 4 km suitable for children. This event, which began back in 1973, has managed to withstand the pandemic and continues to represent an important tradition for the Salò community. Over the years, the Bisagoga has become a symbol of local running, attracting participants of all ages. The inaugural edition saw the participation of 1,050 athletes, a significant number that testified to the community’s love for sport and nature. This year will not only be a moment of running but also an opportunity to relive historical memories and celebrate a tradition that has spanned decades, evolving alongside the development of the sport.
