From July 11th to July 14th, Salò is getting ready to celebrate its local sports tradition with the event “Salò City of Sport 2024”. This event, now a fixed appointment, will bring the passion of the sports associations of the Municipality and the surrounding area to the square. The event will take place in Piazza Vittoria, along the lakeside, where a multifunctional 400 square meter field will be set up. The event is promoted by the Municipality in collaboration with the Pro Loco and numerous volunteers from the participating associations.
Numerous sports will be featured: volleyball, basketball, karate, fencing, soccer, cycling, rowing, triathlon, and more. Every day, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the sports associations will offer free trials of various disciplines, allowing participants to play, train, and try new sports. A signed waiver from a parent is required for minors.
In front of the town hall, tatami mats will be placed for martial arts, while under the Loggia della Magnifica Patria, platforms for fencing and bicycle rollers for thrilling timed challenges will be set up.

Thursday, July 11th
The event will begin with the celebration of the promotion of EcoExport Volley Vallesabbia (Serie C) and Nuova BSTZ Vobarno (Serie B2).
Friday, July 12th
The exhibitions will continue with the New Basket Salò, featuring the participation of the under 13, 14, 15, 19, and Senior teams. It will be an opportunity to witness the performances of local young talents.
Saturday, July 13th
The day will be dedicated to the youth sector of Pallavolo Salò and Garda Karate Team, offering exciting shows and demonstrations of the practiced disciplines.
Sunday, July 14th
The event will conclude with the youth female soccer of Team Out Salò and Scherma Libertas Salò. The latter will showcase competitive athletes, including Martino Minuto, three-time Under 20 World Champion, who will be a coach for the Salò society starting in September. Canottieri Garda, one of the main pillars of the Salò sports sector, will also be present.
