The schedule for the Christmas events “Salò Natale d’Incanto” has been unveiled, which will take place from November 23, 2024 until well into January. The initiative was announced by Mayor Francesco Cagnini, alongside the councilor for commerce and tourism Andrea Battani and the president of the Pro Loco Nicola Tranquilli. Among the main attractions, the return of the New Year’s Eve celebration by the lakeside stands out, featuring a spectacular fireworks display at midnight, which has been absent from the program since before the pandemic. The schedule also includes events for families and children, Christmas markets, and various activities designed to promote local commerce.
New features will include a children’s carousel in Piazza Serenissima, guided tours titled “Traces of History in Salò,” and a Christmas Design Market. There will also be familiar favorites such as an ice skating rink in Piazza Vittoria, concerts, and roaming performances. The festivities will culminate with the traditional New Year’s Eve celebration on December 31, followed by fireworks in the bay. The programming aims to engage both residents and tourists, creating a lively Christmas atmosphere in the town.
