The Municipality of Salò has recently announced the composition of the new municipal council, following the elections held on June 8th and 9th, 2024. The new team, led by Mayor Francesco Cagnini, was officially presented with Decrees No. 10 and 11 on June 26th, 2024.
Decree No. 10 established the appointment of municipal councilors, each with specific responsibilities to improve the management of various sectors of the municipality. Here are the members of the council and their respective responsibilities:
– Alberto Comini: Deputy Mayor in charge of Cultural Services and Associations, and coordination of the association table.
– Tommaso Cigognetti: Urban Planning and Private Construction, Public Works (excluding technical maintenance sector).
– Roberto Novelli: Traffic, Safety and Local Police, Civil Protection, Attention to the Territory and Relations with the Hamlets, Technical Maintenance Sector, Services related to ecology and the environment.
– Marcella Merigo: Social and Welfare Services, Services related to education, Personnel.
– Fabiana Vanzani: Budget and economic-financial services.
In addition to the councilors, Decree No. 11 assigned specific tasks to municipal councilors for targeted projects, as follows:
– Andrea Battani: Relations and coordination with trade and hotel associations, territorial promotion bodies, and Proloco; relations and coordination with sports associations.
– Marta Cavedaghi: Youth policies and event planning in coordination with the youth policy commission.
– Tiberio Evoli: Promotion of initiatives aimed at health protection, relations with ATS and ASST.
– Roberta Ghirardi: Promotion and implementation of cultural activities and events in synergy with the library and Mu.Sa.
– Luca Lazzarini: Improvement and monitoring of technological innovation projects to increase digital accessibility.
– Francesca Magis: Development and integration of institutional communication (website, social media, and municipal newsletter).
