Salò Hosts Second Edition of Dialogues on the Gulf, Sparking Discussion on Contemporary Issues
The second edition of Dialoghi sul Golfo, promoted by the Salò Municipal Administration, will present a four-evening cycle on contemporaneity beginning Thursday, May 7 at 8:30 PM in Piazza Vittoria, with free admission until seats are filled. The talks will address geopolitical context, sport, economy in the globalization era, and communication.
The schedule is as follows: May 7 – Marino Bartoletti on “Sport, Youth and Italy of the Fans”; May 14 – Giovanna Botteri on “The New World: Geopolitics Today”; May 21 – Giovanni Grasso on “Institutions and Citizens: Communicating Democracy”; May 28 – Mariangela Pira on “Economy and Globalization: In Our Pockets.” If weather is bad, events will be held at Auditorium Ceccato of the Battisti Institute. The administration labels the initiative a civic duty and aims to reinforce Salò as a cultural hub.
