Salò Hosts Series of Talks Exploring the History and Art of Its Cathedral
Salò’s Duomo will host a series of conferences focused on history, art, and music, organized by the Associazione Amici del Duomo with support from the Salò Municipality’s Culture Department and the Ateneo di Salò. The events will take place in the Sala dei Provveditori, starting February 13, 2026, with a lecture by Giuseppe Piotti on “The Gardesana Civilization and the Salò Cathedral.”
Subsequent sessions include talks on Zenon Veronese, Palma il Giovane’s works in Brescia, and a concert featuring music from Monteverdi to Bossi, performed by pianist Gerardo Chimini. The series concludes on May 15 with a concert‑lecture combining historical insights and live performance.
