Salò mourns the passing of Andrea Calubini, a respected entrepreneur in the field of industrial waste recovery, who passed away at the age of 83. Founder and owner of Intergreen, operating at the Pbr (Bresciana Recovery Platform) facility in Maclodio, Calubini dedicated his life to the remediation and treatment of both hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste. Under his leadership, the company became a benchmark in the sector, introducing innovations such as the first facility in Italy for the recovery of materials intended for commerce and a system for energy production from plant biomass.
The funeral will take place tomorrow at 3 PM at the Cathedral, with the body arriving from the Rodella Funeral Home. Following the ceremony, the body will be cremated. Andrea Calubini is survived by his wife Bruna and daughters Sara and Laura, and is remembered as a pioneer in his field and a great innovator.
