Salò Golosa will turn Salò's historic centre into an open-air food and wine route on Sunday 27 September, running from 12:00 to 16:00. The event, organised by Associazione Commercianti – Salò Promotion, will involve around 20 restaurants, pastry shops and local businesses offering tastings along the "Acqua" and "Terra" routes, paired with wines from Valtenesi. The experience will also feature the Veliero Circe 1915 and live music from the Rusty Brass Band.
A special role is reserved for the fifth-year students of the Cooking class at the Istituto Alberghiero Caterina de' Medici in Gardone Riviera. Coordinated by the school principal and chef-teachers, the students will prepare the "cannoncino con mousse di lucio alla gardesana", run a serving point and work alongside local restaurateurs. The initiative aims to strengthen links between schools and businesses, giving young people insight into professional opportunities in tourism. Tickets cost 50 euros and are available at local bars and shops or online, with limited remaining places due to a capped number of attendees.
