Salò Telethon Challenge: Zouioula Battles Batel This Sunday
Salò Run for Telethon returns on April 19 for its 14th edition, featuring a competitive 10 km race with top contenders Mohammed Zouioula and Abdellatif Batel, who finished first and second last year. The event, promoted by Runners Salò and part of the national Fidal calendar, will also include Angela Girelli, the runner-up in 2023, and aims to raise funds for the Associazione 6 Luglio. The race starts at 9:00 AM from the Lino Turina Stadium.
The course follows a traditional, slightly hilly route through Salò’s city center and surrounding areas. An additional 7 km non-competitive option is available. As of a week before the event, 320 registrations have been recorded, with registration fees ranging from €15 to €20, and €5 for the non-competitive race. Bib and packet pick-up will occur at the stadium on Saturday and Sunday morning, organized by Runners Salò.
