Salò Youth Engage in Alpine School Camp 2026 at Campei de Sima

The 2026 Alpine School Camp, organized by the National Alpini Association – Salò Section “Monte Suello,” will take place from June 29 to July 5 at the Giuseppe Granata Refuge in Campei de Sima, Toscolano Maderno. The program will host 32 youths aged 13 to 14 and focus on Alpini values and civil protection, involving volunteers, instructors, CAI guides, and technical staff.

Participants will attend theoretical and practical lessons on wildfire prevention, radio communication, rescue operations, and local flora and fauna, including excursions to natural sites like the “Bus del Luf” cave and Campei’s beech forest. The camp, featuring dormitories, an educational classroom, and kitchen facilities, will be managed by approximately 25 staff and conclude with a ceremony attended by local authorities and families. Pre-registration is open until May 11, 2026, with final documentation due by June 8, 2026.
