Sardellata al Chiar di Luna: A Weekend of Taste and Tradition on Lake Garda

The weekend promises to be rich in events in Garda, where lake fish, particularly sardines, will take center stage at the traditional “Sardellata al Chiar di Luna.” This annual event celebrates the local culinary culture and will take place along the picturesque Lungolago Regina Adelaide.

Event Details

The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Garda in collaboration with the Scuola del Remo and the Pro Loco Association. The event will occur during the following hours, from Saturday, July 20, to Monday, July 22:

  • From 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM
  • From 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM

During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to savor a variety of culinary specialties featuring lake fish, including:

  • Bigoli with sardines
  • Fisherman’s sandwich
  • Fried sardines
  • Mixed fry
  • French fries

Additionally, beverages such as wine, beer, and water will be available to accompany the dishes offered.

Side Activities

Beyond the culinary offerings, the Sardellata al Chiar di Luna features a rich entertainment program. Participants can enjoy live music and discover local products. There will also be activities dedicated to children, making the event suitable for families.

Bisse Championship Regatta

An additional highlight of the event will be the Bisse Championship Regatta, scheduled for Saturday, July 20, starting at 6 PM. This nautical competition will add a dynamic element to the festive atmosphere of the Sardellata.
