Save Lake Garda: Residents Protest in Salò Against Overdevelopment and Overtourism

An initiative called **“SalviAMO il Garda”** will take place on **Saturday, 20 June at 17:00** in **Piazza Serenissima in Salò**, bringing together associations, committees and citizens for an information walk focused on **Garda shoreline development (cementification)**, **overtourism** and **wastewater treatment**. The event is promoted by the **Interregional Coordination for the Protection of Lake Garda**.

The walk will start from the square, pass through the town centre and stop at stations addressing additional issues, including the **housing emergency**, the **elevated cycle path project**, and the impacts of **climate change**. On the return to **Piazza Serenissima**, organisers have scheduled **public interventions**, information gazebos from participating groups, and discussion moments with singer-songwriter **Luca Rassu**.
