Save Lake Garda: Walk in Salò to Fight Overdevelopment and Overtourism

An initiative called **“SalviAMO il Garda”** will be held on **Saturday, June 20 at 5:00 p.m.** in **Piazza Serenissima in Salò**, bringing together associations, committees and citizens for an information walk focused on **land development (cementificazione)**, **overtourism** and **wastewater treatment**. The event is promoted by the **Interregional Coordination for the Protection of Lake Garda**.

The route will start from the square, pass through the city center and include stops on additional issues such as the **housing emergency**, the plan for a **cantilever cycle path (ciclovia a sbalzo)**, and the impacts of **climate change**. On the return to **Piazza Serenissima**, organizers will hold **public interventions**, set up **exhibition gazebos** for participating groups, and feature moments of discussion with singer-songwriter **Luca Rassu**.
