Scam Alert: Carabinieri Impersonators Target Garda Businesses

They pose as Carabinieri when contacting hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in Medio and Alto Garda, offering subscriptions to the arm‘s magazines.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to be affiliated with the finance police, the police, the fire brigade, or the Comune police.

How to recognize scams
