Scam Artists Impersonate Carabinieri in Garda Region to Target Local Businesses

They impersonate Carabinieri when making phone calls to hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurant owners in Medio and Alto Garda, offering magazine subscriptions from the force.

These are not military personnel, but scam artists who, from time to time, claim to belong to finance, police, fire brigade, or local Municipal authorities.
