Scammers Impersonate Carabinieri in Garda Area to Promote Fake Magazines

They impersonate Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in Middle and Upper Garda, proposing subscriptions to the arme‘s magazines.

They are not actual military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the financial police, the police, the fire brigade, or the Municipal police.

How to Recognize Scams
