Scammers Impersonate Carabinieri in Garda Area to Steal from Businesses

They impersonate Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurateurs in the Middle and Upper Garda area, offering subscriptions to magazines of the force.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to finance, the police, the fire brigade, or municipal guards.

They often offer subscriptions to non-existent magazines or magazines that have nothing to do with the law enforcement.
