Scammers Impersonate Carabinieri in Garda Area to Trick Local Businesses

They impersonate Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shop owners, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda areas, offering subscriptions to the force‘s magazines.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, the police, the fire brigade, or the Municipal guard.
