Scammers Impersonate Carabinieri to Target Garda Business Owners

They impersonate Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shop owners, artisans, and restaurant owners in the Medio and Alto Garda areas, offering subscriptions to the arm‘s magazines.

They are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, the police, the fire brigade, or the Comune police.
