Scammers Impersonate Carabinieri to Target Garda Region Businesses

They impersonate Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shopkeepers, craftsmen, and restaurateurs in the Medio and Alto Garda areas, offering subscriptions to military publications of the arma.

They are not soldiers, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to be part of the finance police, police, fire brigade, or local Municipal police.
