Scammers Impersonate Police to Sell Fake Magazine Subscriptions

They impersonate Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda regions, offering subscriptions to military magazines.

This is not about military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, the police, firefighters, or the Municipal police.

How to recognize scams
