Scammers Pose as Carabinieri Offering Fake Magazine Subscriptions

They pose as Carabinieri when making phone calls to hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurant owners in the Middle and Upper Garda area, proposing subscriptions to magazines associated with the force.

They are not actually soldiers, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, police, fire department, or municipal police.
