Scammers Pretend to Be Carabinieri Offering Fake Magazine Subscriptions

Pretending to be Carabinieri, they contact hoteliers, shop owners, artisans, and restaurateurs in Medio and Alto Garda, offering subscriptions to magazines of the force.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to finance authorities, police, fire brigades, or Municipality officials.

They often offer subscriptions to nonexistent magazines or magazines that have nothing to do with the law enforcement.
