Pretending to be Carabinieri, scammers contact hoteliers, shop owners, artisans, and restaurant owners in the Medio and Alto Garda areas, offering subscriptions to magazines of the force.

They are not military personnel, but fraudsters who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance department, police, firefighters, or municipal guards.
