BARDOLINO: PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS CLOSED FOR WATER NETWORK INTERVENTIONS On Monday, February 17, the primary and lower secondary schools of the “Borsellino” Comprehensive Institute in Bardolino were closed due to extraordinary interventions scheduled by the Gardesana Servizi Company on the water network. The work, which affected the historic center, resulted in the interruption of potable water distribution from 8:30 AM until around 4 PM. The decision to close the schools was made in collaboration with the school administrators to ensure the safety of the students.
Despite the inconveniences caused by the construction work, the “De Gianfilippi” kindergarten and nursery remained operational, thanks to their ability to manage the lack of water during the working hours. Mayor Daniele Bertasi emphasized the importance of these interventions for upgrading the water network and thanked teachers, parents, and students for their understanding. Classes will resume as scheduled tomorrow, Tuesday, February 18, as per the mayoral ordinance.
