During a site visit yesterday, the president of the province, Maurizio Fugatti, announced a school investment of nearly 30 million euros for the Maffei High School in Riva del Garda, which currently accommodates around one thousand students. Alongside the head of the Civil Works Service, Marco Gelmini, the mayor, Cristina Santi, and other members of the educational community, Fugatti confirmed that the delivery of Block D of the institution is scheduled for January 2025, with construction having begun in September 2020. This new building represents a significant step towards enhancing the educational offerings in the area.
The project includes modern and functional spaces, such as spacious classrooms and a well-equipped gymnasium. The deputy principal, Bisi, emphasized the importance of this development for the educational future of the students. The construction faced initial delays due to the health emergency, but work is now progressing swiftly. Upon the completion of Block D, construction will move on to Blocks B and C, bringing the total investment to approximately 28.4 million euros, a testament to the province’s commitment to providing the region with top-quality educational infrastructure.
