Recent coordinated checks were carried out in Salò over the weekend in response to the increasing number of tourists and to address the issue of uncivil behavior that has disrupted the enjoyment of the beaches. The initiative, promoted by the local administration, involved the Local Police, the Financial Police, and the Carabinieri, with the assistance of the canine unit from the Local Police of Brescia. The operations focused on the prevention and repression of illegal activities by groups that were causing disturbances to tourists and residents, thereby compromising the relaxation of spaces along the gulf.
The law enforcement agencies also monitored the Martiri della Libertà underground parking lot, where problematic behavior among young people had been reported. Mayor Francesco Cagnini and the Safety Councillor Roberto Novelli expressed their gratitude to the police forces for their commitment to safeguarding public safety. Patrolling of the coastal areas will continue throughout the summer to ensure a peaceful and safe environment for all.
