During a targeted operation for Halloween, the Guardia di Finanza of Trento seized over 32,500 non-compliant products that did not meet consumer safety regulations. Inspections took place at four commercial establishments located in Trento, Pergine Valsugana, Civezzano, Mezzolombardo, and Rovereto, where items such as cosmetics, costumes, and home accessories were found lacking the CE mark and the necessary labels to ensure minimum safety standards.
The irregularities identified led to the reporting of the responsible parties to the Chamber of Commerce, with administrative fines that can reach up to 329,876 euros. This initiative is part of the actions taken by the Guardia di Finanza to combat the spread of unsafe products and protect consumer rights in the local market.
