A serious road accident occurred today around 6 p.m. on Mancino Street, on Provincial Road 25 in Lonato. A 44-year-old motorcyclist, who resides in the area, was seriously injured after a head-on collision between his Harley Davidson and a Volkswagen Golf. The local police in Lonato intervened to carry out the investigation and confirmed that the man was urgently transported by helicopter to the Civil Hospital.
The motorcyclist’s condition is serious and doctors have reserved their prognosis. Traffic in the area has been slowed down due to the accident and rescue operations.
