Serious Horse Riding Accident in Folino Cabiana: Urgent Rescue for Tourist
A serious horse riding accident occurred this morning, December 22, involving a 45-year-old foreign tourist in Folino Cabiana, Toscolano Maderno. The incident took place around 11:00 AM when the woman was thrown from her saddle after riding approximately 100 meters from a local agriturismo.
Emergency services were quickly alerted via the Nue 112, and volunteers from Garda in Salò arrived on the scene to stabilize the injured woman and call for an ambulance. An air rescue unit was also dispatched by the Areu operations center. Upon arrival, the woman was found unconscious and was urgently transported to Civile Hospital in “red code,” although reports indicate she is not in life-threatening condition.
