In Sirmione, photography enthusiasts will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the exhibition “FIT • Every size matters” with the Sirmione 10% Photo Marathon. This event, part of the Sirmione Photography Award, promises to capture the essence of Lake Garda through the lenses of the participants.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 7:00 AM, in Piazza Carducci. This atypical “marathon,” more akin to a sprint, will require photographers to interpret a specific theme in just 60 minutes.

Competition Details

The Sirmione 10% Photo Marathon is the third of six competitions planned for the 2025 edition of the Award. Despite its name, this is a test of speed: the theme of the challenge will be revealed at 7:30 AM, just before the official start. The shooting session will conclude at 8:30 AM.

Participation and Submission

Participation is open to everyone, including tourists and residents who wish to express their vision of Sirmione, and no pre-registration is required. Once the marathon concludes, participants will have until 11:59 PM on Monday, July 21, to submit their photographs.

The Exhibition “FIT • Every size matters”

Images selected by a specialized jury will be included in the exhibition “FIT • Every size matters“, which will open on Saturday, July 19, at Palazzo Callas Exhibitions. More information about the Sirmione Photography Award can be found on the website visitsirmione.com.
