A year of success for The Group, the energy purchasing group founded in Sirmione by Federalberghi Garda Veneto and the Consortium of Hoteliers and Restaurateurs. Last Friday, presidents Marco Merlo and Ivan De Beni celebrated the first anniversary of the initiative, which has already attracted 200 members, aiming to support local businesses in a complex energy market. The celebration took place at the Ca’ dei Frati Winery, where Mayor Luisa Lavelli and the Tourism Councillor of the Lombardy Region, Barbara Mazzali, also attended, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among the region’s business entities.
During the evening, the results achieved and the group’s future prospects were discussed, highlighting how this initiative serves as a concrete response to the rising costs of energy supplies. President De Beni stressed the necessity of cooperation within the business sector to tackle current challenges, while Merlo expressed satisfaction for the support provided not only to members but also to various other entities.
