A new project dedicated to youth, NextGen Green, has been launched in Sirmione with the aim of promoting sustainable innovation and the development of digital skills. Targeted at individuals aged between 16 and 29, the program is the result of a collaboration between the Municipality of Sirmione and Sirmione Servizi, supported by local cooperatives. The centerpiece of the initiative is OneLab, a digital innovation lab that will serve as a platform for hands-on training and technological experimentation. Participants will have the opportunity to develop projects related to sustainability, with the chance to win scholarships worth €500 for the most promising ideas.
The inauguration ceremony for OneLab will take place on Wednesday, March 12, at 6:00 PM at P.zza Virgilio n. 23, where the NextGen Green project will be officially presented. Local authorities emphasize the importance of integrating environmental awareness into the educational journey, highlighting how collective responsibility is crucial in addressing current and future ecological challenges. With this program, Sirmione aims not only to provide technological tools but also to offer a comprehensive pathway to prepare young people for a more conscious and sustainable future.
