The exhibition “Fit • Every Size Matters” of the Sirmione Photography Award 2024 will take place from July 19 to November 9, 2025 at the Palazzo Callas Exhibitions. This cultural event offers a profound reflection on the body and perception, showcasing the works from the XV edition of the award. Through photographs of various sizes, the exhibition aims to challenge the aesthetic standards imposed by the fashion industry, highlighting how authenticity and beauty lie in the diversity of forms.
The setup will feature XS-sized images displayed in a smaller format, while XL-sized works will occupy a dominant space, thus overturning common conventions. The inauguration will be accompanied by the Sirmione 10% Photo Marathon, a photographic event taking place on July 20, 2025, inviting participants to capture the essence of the theme revealed at the start of the competition. With this project, Sirmione reaffirms its status as a landmark for cultural events that promote social awareness through visual art.
