A **27-year-old Indian** man, who was illegally residing in the area and already known to law enforcement, has been arrested for **improper robbery** at the **Italmark** in **Sirmione**. The intervention of the Carabinieri from the mobile unit of the Desenzano Company was prompted by the supermarket staff after the man attempted to steal several bottles of spirits and food products. During his escape, he assaulted a security guard, but the stolen goods were promptly recovered and returned.
The arrested individual has been transferred to the “Nerio Fischione” Correctional Facility in Brescia, while the security guard received medical assistance for minor injuries sustained during the incident. Authorities are now conducting further investigations to determine any prior offenses or connections to other illicit activities in the area.
