Sirmione Launches Road Maintenance Project at Piazza Unità d’Italia

Starting February 9, maintenance work will begin on the paving of Piazza Unità d’Italia in Sirmione, lasting until February 21. The project aims to improve traffic and pedestrian safety by repairing pavement dislocations and hazards, with temporary traffic restrictions and detours in place.

The work will be carried out in two phases, involving full closures of Piazza Unità d’Italia and nearby streets, with changes to traffic flow on adjacent routes. Public transportation will also experience temporary stops and rerouting, while access to local businesses and residences will be maintained. The municipality emphasizes that safety and communication measures will be prioritized throughout the project.
