Sirmione Resumes Hydraulic Upgrades at Ganfo Pilandro After Suspension
Work has resumed on hydraulic rehabilitation of the Ganfo Pilandro in Sirmione, following a temporary halt. The project aims to improve water flow management over a 150-meter stretch, including sediment removal and channel restoration, to mitigate flood risks and enhance hydraulic safety.
The operation involved temporary diversion of water flow, fish rescue, and environmental safeguards. The project, approved in December 2025 and awarded to Olli Scavi Srl for €149,344, is expected to take around 30 days, with measures in place to protect local aquatic fauna and ensure environmental compliance.
