Sirmione Unveils 2025 Budget of 27 Million Euros with Social Initiatives
Sirmione’s 2025 financial report confirms a balanced budget of approximately €27 million, emphasizing social, educational, and community cohesion priorities. The document, approved by the municipal council and published in April 2026, highlights revenue mainly from local taxes, including €9 million from IMU, €2.75 million from TARI, and €2.39 million from tourist taxes.
The municipality allocated over €24.88 million to current expenses, with significant investments in social services, schools, infrastructure, and public safety. Notable projects include the €11.79 million redevelopment of B.B. Porro School and a €4.31 million new gym. Additional funds supported urban maintenance, environmental protection, and tourism promotion, totaling around €3.16 million in capital investments. An upcoming public assembly will present these financial details to residents.
