Desenzano del Garda is preparing to host the fourth edition of sMArTEMATICA, a competition that tests the logical and mathematical skills of students from lower secondary schools. The event, organized by the “Annibale Maria di Francia” Rogationist Institute in collaboration with the Comprensivo 1 Institute of Desenzano, the Comprensivo Institute of Vobarno, and the Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Natural Sciences of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Brescia, will involve the participation of 138 students from 12 schools.
The competition will take place on Friday, May 17th, at the gymnasium of the “Annibale Maria di Francia” Rogationist Institute, located at Viale G. Motta 54 in Desenzano del Garda. The activities will start at 3:30 PM.
Each team will consist of six students, evenly divided among the three classes of lower secondary school (two students per class). The participants will face various mathematical problems that will test their logical abilities.

In the first two editions of the 2017/18 and 2018/19 school years, the competition took place in Montichiari. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the edition planned for 2020 was suspended. The third edition took place during the 2022/23 school year in Desenzano del Garda.
