Smartphone theft in hospital in Castiglione delle Stiviere: woman reported
A smartphone theft has shaken the Civil Hospital of Castiglione delle Stiviere during a medical visit, when a woman noticed that her iPhone had gone missing from her bag. The victim, a 30-year-old from Lonato del Garda, promptly contacted the local Carabinieri to report the incident and request the intervention of a patrol. The officers, upon arriving at the scene, initiated a search using the device’s tracking system.
Thanks to this operation, the smartphone was located inside the bag of another patient, a 33-year-old resident of Casalmoro. The phone was returned to its rightful owner, and the woman was reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office on charges of receiving stolen goods.
