Snowshoeing on Lake Garda Blends Winter Sport and Tradition

Multiple outdoor sports events are scheduled around Lake Garda during the weekend of January 4th. The highlight is the Ciaspolada, a 7 km competitive and recreational snowshoe race in Fondo (TN), starting at 10:30 from Pradiei. Other activities include an 8 km walk in Manerba (BS) at 9:00 and the “Rincorri la Befana” 4.5 km run in Malcesine (VR) at 14:30.

The sporting calendar continues into early January with events such as the Cross Fidal in Bedizzole (BS) on January 6th and the 17 km Trail della Lepre Bianca in Vallarsa (TN), featuring 760 meters of elevation gain, starting at 10:00. The weekend offers a range of disciplines including running, trail running, cycling, mountain biking, triathlon, and sailing in the Lake Garda area.
