A concerning incident occurred on the afternoon of Sunday, February 16, in Brentonico, during a First Division match between the local team Monte Baldo and Baone. A 21-year-old player experienced a discomfort after enduring two tough tackles, one of which was particularly painful to his side. Despite the severe pain, the young man chose to remain on the field until halftime, but his condition worsened, forcing him to leave the pitch.
Following a request for assistance from the officials of Monte Baldo, the attending doctors decided to call for air ambulance support to ensure a swift transfer to the hospital. The helicopter landed on the field while the young man was still conscious and alert. After examinations at the hospital, fortunately, no serious injuries were found, and his condition is not a cause for concern, bringing relief to those present.
