SP237 Checks on Sant’Eusebio Coast Set for Weekend
Carabinieri and Local Police carried out SP237 checks on the Sant’Eusebio coast on Saturday afternoon, focusing on the provincial road section between Caino, Vallio Terme and Odolo to curb dangerous driving and reduce the risk of crashes in an area heavily used by motorists and motorcyclists over the weekend.
During the operation, 68 vehicles were inspected and 87 people were identified. Authorities reported eight violations, including failure to use required safety equipment, not wearing seat belts, driving at speeds inappropriate for road conditions, and issues related to driving or vehicle documents. A prohibited overtaking maneuver was also recorded. The checks form part of broader provincial prevention activities, with heightened attention during peak traffic periods.
